December 21, 2012 will be a day that history would never forget; it was the day that man kind was overthrown. The day had started like expected, some people were in a panic for fear of the world ending bothered them while others were bothered by those who believed the world would end. There was traffic and accidents, people yelling and people praying, but the world wasn't ending. The day past and night time fell, people were relaxed and some were embarrassed by their actions. But the world was still standing. At least until 11:30 that night.
The bloodbath began a half hour before the start of a new day. Vampires stepped out of the darkness and started their descent upon the human race; the humans hardly stood a chance. At first it was feeding, the vampires drank till they could drink no more. Then they started capturing humans and locking them up. Humans were running, they were hiding, and the vampires were hunting them. In the midst of all the chaos rose a form of government within the vampires. Out stepped a leader who organized groups to capture humans, who set up a trade system; a leader who built New York City to be the capitol, to be the main power for the vampires.
Of course after the world settled, when the 'peace' of this new government was set, the lycans were not happy. They stepped out of their own solitude and rose against the vampires. At first their attempts were feeble but then they made a dent and because of that, the vampires upped their guard. The lycans made fear rise in the vampires. So the lycans began to act against the vampires, making base outside their capitol, housing their humans and rescuing them. They made the vampires angry.
But just like any society, too did the vampires and lycans have traitors. Some of their kind who went over thinking the other side was safe, some who passed information over, and some who infiltrated the enemy. They were the new powers of this world and the humans were merely pawns.
The year is 2052.
